So, one of the things, those odds and ends type of projects I like to do... are of all things, Children's menus for restaurants. This tradition actually began back in 1991, when I was fifteen years old. Visiting Grandma in San Antonio, Texas... I basically told Dave Johnson, the ten gallon hat wearing manager at Mama's Cafe that could draw a better children's menu then the one they were using. This became my first commercial job, which lasted for three years, including more menus, coloring and activity books.
Recently, I've been doodling for Country House Restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. Here's the recent children's menu I created for them. Enjoy!
