Raves for the Seattle Art Museum Field Trip Event

Thanks to everyone that attended. It was a trendsetting event due to everyone that participated. We've gotten some amazing raves thus far and wanted to share them with you.

"An INSPIRED meeting and networking idea. Big thanks to you three for putting this event together. The quality of people and conversational flow was memorable, and with great art as a backdrop, cultural and educational in a easy way. When do we do it again?"

Russell Smith, Writer

"What a great event! SERIOUS props to the Foster trio for putting this together, and also thanks to the Marketing/Events guy from SAM [John Ferguson]. The Trumbull paintings brought tears to my eyes -- I don't even know how to write about it. What a great experience to be able to see items that typically have to stay at Yale. Not to mention the Brush Native American works as well."

Dave Kuhns, Writer, Storyteller, Poet & Author

"What a fantastic event! We totally scored did we! Free admission, great networking and getting outside the 'work zone' to do some creative thinking. Thank you Michael, Jamie and Jewels for hosting it and making it happen. Seattle biz owners need more of this to get them out of their 'comfort zones'! Kudos and looking forward to the next one!"

Sylvia Taylor, Transition Coaching

"Bravo to our three organizers - you did a fantastic job making this happen and were delightful and welcoming hosts besides. I met some great people and appreciated the privilege of doing so while visiting the museum - so thanks also to SAM! You've all inspired me. i could easily imagine this as a quarterly event."

Karen Stockert, Graphic Designer

"Loved the Japanese tea ceremony room and the Aboriginal art."

Ross Cottrell, Financial Services

"This was a great event! As an illustrator I picked up some ideas about using light and shadow to create drama, about the use of symbolism in paintings--something I don't think about much, but that really adds depth. Many of the paintings helped illuminate some of our social and racial history. Dinner afterward was filled with great conversation! I particularly enjoyed talking with Michael and Jaime and Jewels Foster, Michelle Linden, and Mitch (M C Hunter?) about redefining our economy in these changing times. I also enjoyed taking with Monica Moonstar and with Karen Johanson. Thank you Foster trio for putting this together!"
